    A couiple of days ago - after Dacal took a look at the switch code I added to the base - he did have one update for us all.. He prefers to place the parsing code (from obj.updatetimestring down thru the color stuff) in a function rather than a variable. Variables have to be declared first.. where a function can placed anywhere in the code (pretty much) and be called from anywhere else. I certainly bow to Dacal's expertise over mine.. LOL!!!.. So here's the way the switch will now appear in the 02_WidgetWeather_Base when released in Cydia as part of WidgetWeather2.0. Parts in red are changes from other switch code I posted here..

    Code:
    function weatherHandler (data) { ..... all parsing code here ...... }

    function updateWeather() {
        var files = "widgetweather.xml"; /* comment this out ( // ) if using a multi-location widget*/
        //var files = "widgetweather" + xmlnumber + ".xml"; /* use this only for multi-location widgets only*/
        switch (GroovyLockPlus) {
    	case true:
    	    groovyAPI.do ({ read: files }, function(data) { weatherHandler(data); });
    	break;
    	case false:
    	    if (XML_TEST == true) { url = files; } else { url = "file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/" + files; }
    	    jQuery.get(url, function(data) { weatherHandler(data); }).fail( function () {
    		document.getElementById("desc").innerHTML = "No widgetweather.xml file !";
    		});
    	break;
         }

        // REINITIALIZE THE TIMER TO NOT LAUNCH MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF THE FUNCTION
        clearTimeout(refreshTimer);
        refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather_XML, 30*1000);
    }
    Thanks, Dacal, for the tweak. And everyone enjoy! Follow the link in the my signature if you have any application questions that aren't UniAW7-specific related.

    Enjoy!

    Hello,

    I just got my iPhone 6 4.7 inch with iOS 8.1.2 after saving up for awhile, and I've been going through this forum to get the UNIAW installed but I'm running into a problem. I tried using LockHTML4 but that was a no go. Kept saying no widgetweather.xml file. Even after renaming/deleting the said files on the 1st post.

    So I figured I try GroovyLock as that seemed to be the best option and made the changes to the code main.js as shown in red on 1st post. However I'm getting closer but still no go. Any ideas? I also made some permission changes per the GroovyLock popup.

    Here is what I get.

    Thanks as always.

    Looks like you either need to install WidgetWeather2.0 or change the way that you are trying to get your weather data to locale.

    Check out WW3 for iOS 9/10 - Widget-Weather 3.0

    Everyone does depending on your tweaks and set up.

    King,

    I have WW2 installed and checked the WOEID/Zip in the config as well as the setting option within Groovy and I'm not sure where it would pull the weather info. Should those settings be left blank and let WW2 manage the locale? Or should I be putting my location within the config?

    I also installed the latitude and longitude from Ian's repo and it said it updated my coords to my location.

    Not sure exactly what I'm missing. I still have LockHTML4 installed as well as Groovy. Should I rip out LHTML?

    Thanks for all your help as always.

    Lucys (Lucia) still reminds me from all her mods I still see in this forum... that it feels good share and see others enjoy our work. I started over again with the latest UniAW7 download. Of course I'll share when I feel comfortable with the mods I've done. I've learned a lot from the people who share in this thread... and in this forum. I'm really enjoying UniAW7!!!!

    This is the reason why consider myself a tweak minimalist. I only download what I need to theme. I've had one respring on my 6+... only because I forgot to mod the main.js to work with GB+... LOL... Other than some minor annoyances... my 6+ has be pretty solid.

    I haven't come across a solution to remove the dark area of the Dock, even with DockShift, anybody know?

    Yes that's new. When your wind speed is greater then "strong wind" in config, sometimes you will see dandelion and sometimes you will see leaves. Can be changed easily in animations.js.

    Ok it's a working now!!! I'm a happy camper. Not sure why this worked a second time but I changed my setting to GPS instead of widgetweather and added my WOEID again and resprung. Once she came back up she is good to go now. Now to get the Delorean added. It never ends does it. 😃

    Thanks again guys/gals for keeping us running with the sickest LS out there. 🍻

    That's caused by Eclipse. Go in the Eclipse dock settings where you can remove it. I think it's in the advance settings or advance dock setting .
