I know, and i did it for 1 minute - but this is the issue:
when in app (no matter which one) - the dim delay is after 1 minute like in the setting - its ok.
When on springboard - showing the icons, the dim delay is after 15 seconds - this is my question:
is there any tweak that will make the springboard dim delay for 1 minute?

    thanks in advanced

I use a tweak called "20second lockscreen" though you can set it for any number, even infinit

My bad, I reread you post, you want to extend the springboard time, not lockscreen....

    Default Talking Widget
Now that iWidget supports cycript I thought I make one. It is a pointless gimmick, but has some novelty appeal. I think that was the reason why I made it. It looks like this

It is a collection of 6 icons plus one refresh "icon", which will reload the widget in case it needs updating.
The novelty effect comes from the fact that is a talking widget, that means touch any of the 6 icons and you will hear some spoken text. Once installed it comes with a "default" setup, but it also has its own Settings menu, funny enough called Talking Widget. In that you can customise the widget. This starts from the choice of 24 hour or 12 hour AM/PM time to changing the position of the icons. But the most important part of this menu is that you can set your own text, in your own language, which you want to hear. This also includes the weekdays, Monday to Sunday, which you should change to the your language.
Here is a quick description of what each of the 6 icons does after touching. Italic text are filled with text specific for you.
1.) Time: this will tell you the current time in hours and minutes in either 12 hour AM/PM or 24 hour format, default "The time is hour minute"
2.) Date: this will say the weekday the day date, month and year in a format that is predominant in your country and should be in your language, default "Today is weekday day date month year"
3.) GPS: will tell you in which city you are, but also blend in the latitude and longitude for a short time, default "You are in location name"
4.) Weather: this is a kind of daily summary, can change a few times during day and night, no default, will be in the language your iOS is set to and will use the temperature format, Celsius or Fahrenheit, that you have set in the stock Weather app.
5.) Sun: tells you the sunrise and sunset times in either 12 hour AM/PM or 24 hour format, default "Sunrise is at sunrise time and sunset is at sunset time"
6.) Moon: like Sun, but for moonrise and moonset times, default "Moonrise is at moonrise time and moonset is at moonset time"

There are a few more settings features, but one that might be important is the Voice Setting.

This is important as different iDevices, different iOS's and different countries can have different voice synthesizer.
For example the above "default" setting is for my 5S on iOS 8.4 and works fine, however the same settings on my iPad mini , iOS 9.0.2, makes the talking soooo slooowww, that I have to change the voice speed to 0.9 in order to have a normal talking speed. So, if your voice is slow that's where you speed it up, just play around with the settings to find the one that sounds best for you.

    IMPORTANT!
After installation Cydia will respring - needed to show the Talking Widget menu in Settings, however you MUST reboot. That is a "fault" outside my control and the this is needed for the Settings menu to read the "default" values. Without a reboot the widget will show all icons on top of each other!

Talking Widget is available from my repo, apt.rasputin007.com!

Can you check if you have a com.tw.plist file in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences and if it has 46 dictionaries in it.
Do you have a Talking Widget menu in Settings?
Also check the Widget.plist file in Talking Widget folder, it should have position x=0, y=200 and size width=320 and height=200 in it.

Here is Talking Widget in action, tested it with German iOS language settings and German text in the Talking Widget settings menu, not much to see, but more to hear.

Hi Ras, very very interesting, I didn't know iWidgets supported Cycript.

Just one I notice, the sunrise/sunset times are not taking GMT into account, I'm 4hrs in front of GMT & the widget sunrise/set times are 4hrs behind.
    Moonrise/set times are ok.

Only since InfoStats2 can widgets work with cycript code.
You can take out the sunrise/sunset javascript and get them from weather framework as well. Sadly it does not provide the moon times, but they seem to be OK for you.
