    Thanks!

Which directory would I put these wallpapers into?

  2. #182
Default Parallax, not dynamic - whoops
Just mail it to yourself then save it to your Photos app. It's not the correct size to be used as a parallax wallpaper.

I don't want to use it as a parallax ( had to correct myself after you did, Lolz :P ) wallpaper. Just a static one. I did notice it was for an iPhone 5 though. I have an iPhone4S. Also, saving that way won't work because of the size. The dock is cut off at the bottom.

We're almost there to making it look perfect! :P

Also, I wanted to point something out to you. Take a look at the clock icon in my folder. The color is inverted. When you open the folder, the clock icon looks fine. It's only inverted when the folder is closed.

Apparently, changing the height doesn't solve incorrect size, Lol!

Wouldn't it be easier just to put the image in the directory with all the wallpapers? That way I can choose it from my list of wallpapers instead of setting it as a background.

All right, slowly but surely it's getting there but not quite! All I really did was move the image up when selecting the wallpaper. With that being said, it cut off the border for the status bar.

Paypal received an update. They changed the name name of their app icon. I found what they changed it to and was able to get the Neurtotech style back

    1. Go ahead and delete the desktop icon image in var/stash/themes/Neurotech/bundles/com.yourcompany.ppclient
    2. You should have 2 images left.
    3. Rename 1 of them to [email protected]
    4. Rename the other PP_iPhone_App_Icon_120.png

Respring in Winterboard and you're all set!

The wallpaper images MUST be a certain resolution and named properly or they won't show in Settings->Wallpaper (If I'm remembering correctly). I'm not sure what that resolution is for an iPhone 4 on iOS 7. You can check by looking in Library/ Wallpaper/ iPhone. Each image has a thumbnail and the wallpaper and you need to name them using the same naming convention, but different numbers, obviously

Sorry about that! I didn't remember you were on an iPhone 4 - I just talk to so many people I've got no mind to remember everyone's setup

    Here's the proper alpha: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...n-iP4Share.zip

That's a different location than what I used on my iPad. I went to var/stash/wallpapers.xxxx/.

I took a wallpaper saved in my DCIM folder and moved to to the wallpapers folder. I named it to the next set of numbers in the list, duplicated it, and renamed it with the same number with the word thumbnail in the file name. It showed right up as I expected it would. It may have not looked even with the rest of the thumbnails because it was more of a test to see if that would work but the end result was that it did work perfectly Also, those images in that folder will give you the correct dimensions of the image and thumbnails

Thank you for sharing that file with me. I appreciate it! I'll definitely be able to correct it myself now.

For anyone on an iPhone 4S, here is the modified version of the Neurotech wallpaper to fit your iP4S screen. You can set it up in 2 ways.

    1. Drop both of these images into var/stash/wallpapers.xxxx and rename them to the next number that comes after the last image.

    2. Copy the image, send it to yourself, save it to your camera roll, set as homescreen!

Thanks Jahooba for sending me the .psd so I can modify it for the 4S.

Let's take a look at this screenshot,

Please direct your attention to the calendar. As you can see, I have repositioned the date so it fits in the middle of the icon ( Screenshot below ). To do this, go to var/stash/themes/Neurotech/info.plist

You can either use Property List Viewer or Text Viewer.

If you use Property List Viewer, drill into CalendarIconDateStyle and add the following string.
    color: #256b8e; font-size: 30px; padding: 10px 0 0 0; ( #256b8e is a darker blue color that matches the original color )

If you use Text Viewer, edit the parameters in between <string></string> under CalendarIconDateStyle with the same parameters as mentioned above.

To change the color of the day, drill into CalendarIconDayStyle in Property List Viewer and/or Text Viewer ( With above instructions ) and add the following:
    font-family: Arial; font-size: 8px; color: #256b8e;

P.s. If you are missing font-family and font size in the CalendarIconDayStyle, the color will stay default red.

    End Result

Sorry hadn't been around but made these setting icons for some cydia tweaks, hope you like them but, only one problem is that the ibooks icon has some weird icon mask when using these icons.

^ Very nice, thanks for sharing!

Does anyone else have problems with the white network activity indicator on the statusbar? Mine just shows a solid white circle when loading. I check the files (UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleWhite.0.png) and they look right to me (not solid circles).

The strange thing is I have no issues with black network activity indicators or the large white activity indicators. They look correct to me.

Yah have the same issue, but noticed when the status bar is black, it seems to be working correctly. I think this has to do with ios changing the black icon to white because the loading icon if you notice has black and white components of the image. So if the loading image only have its white components, and edit out the black area of the image in photoshop or some other program, this should fix the issue, but only Mr.J can edit this without looking crappy.

I'm fairly certain that's some kind of bug with WinterBoard. The two colors I used so that when it works on the white status bar you can still see it. Strangely, I've noted that it shows as a white circle in some programs, but other times it renders correctly in those programs. It may have to do with which program is open when the cached image files are created through WinterBoard. ATM that's my best guess.

That sucks because I use Eclipse and just about all my apps use a dark statusbar. Hopefully a fix is found soon.

I'm not so sure it will be fixed - I'm probably one of the only themers that actually themed them and I have no idea how to get WinterBoard issues fixed, lol. I know that Saurik knows how to fix his stuff, but I also hear he wants other people to fix it.

Even if I figured out how to contact him (he's reclusive), I wouldn't even know what to ask him - he's a programmer and I'm an artist - we don't communicate ideas/ concepts well to one another.

I believe ArChAnGeL_'s solution of editing the black out of the png will be a working one, Jah.
The theme in my posts is 3 4 All, by Sk37cH.

The numerous versions released, and infinite versatility, beats IconOmatic mods. By quality.

Ah, nope. I created the version with black in it in an attempt to fix the problem in Beta. It didn't fix the problem but it reads better on lighter backgrounds so I decided to keep it.

Hmm, there may also have been another problem I forgot about - the masked design (with no black) worked, but on a white background it totally disappears. It may just be on programs that run as Root, now that I think of it. I'll do some more testing.

I am on Sauriks irc channel and can bring the issue up to him and the others in there. But I need some solid examples and exact apps when this happens. Also a screen shot or 2 would help.

Okay, I'll try and corner the issue.

So, I've been looking at the JellyLock7 files and I can't seem to theme it with WinterBoard. Have any of you tried using WB, or did you just replace the original files?
