Either goto lockbuilder settings and turn gps off or goto to privacy/location services and turn on corelocation.framework

I had to go into LockBuilder settings, turn on GPS, go to lockscreen, click ok to use current location popup, then go back into LockBuilder settings, turn GPS location off and then back to the Lockscreen, and then it went past the full blur issue.

That's what fixed it. Thanks man.

A few have reported blurred lockscreen randomly. I'm working on it, no need for hate emails.

I do not have this issue on 5s. Anyone with a 5s experienced this issue?

The issue, imo is when you use gps it gets location from your phone. Latitude and Longitude then converts this to zip code. To translate lat and long to zip, it needs to connect to the server and pull this number. The weather has been optimized to load immediately. That means if this server request is slowed by just a little then it will not load the weather. When weather is not loaded screen, will be blurred. Still working on it.

It might just be an i5 issue. I have an i5 and I had the blur issue, but I was able to resolve it with enabling the corelocation.framework in Location Services and then disabling it (since I use zip code).

On a side note, this recent jailbreak has brought in some major whiners and complainers that I don't remember seeing so much in the past years. They demand way too much and expect themers to jump on a dime for them. There is no reason to send hate mail because there is an issue with an update. Things like this happen and can be fixed rather easily with a quick update fix. People need to start showing some respect to the people that are spending hours, actually days on creating these amazing themes and tweaks, then spend even more time answering your questions, and they are only charging you pennies compared to the time they have spent on their creations. /rant

iOS7 is an issue in itself. Pushing it to where I have, makes it even tougher as everything has to be perfect. Not only perfect, but i've have to do things way different. It's all good, I just ask for patience. Especially when I add features everyone or just some want. It isn't easy at all. Then i5 vs 5s is another huge challenge, not many understand this. If a website was created like LB then it would have a team that created it. I've lived LockBuilder for months now, and have made very little compared to the time. It is something I like to do, so its justified. The emails, not necessary in my opinion, I do my best.

Had the same problem on my i5. Went to Cydget and unchecked LockBuilder, did a respring, went back to Cydget rechecked LockBuilder and did another respring and problem was fixed. Not a big deal really, just a matter of trying a few things to figure it out.

I'm getting rid of GPS. Maybe upload a separate GPS version.

The problem is everything wants to load. It doesnt want to wait on the translation for lat/long to zip. So when I start slowing LB down to make up for it, other things break.

in the icons.js you can change any icon to open any app.

System/Library/LockCydgets/LockBuilder/js/icon.js is where the file is.

Music is named Phone as it was originally for the phone, before it got annoying.

    document.getElementById("Phone").innerHTML = "<a href='music:user_profile'><img src='../phone.png' width='50'></a>"

change music:user_profile to any url scheme

if you use a theme from winterboard you also need to change this
    music="music:user_profile";

change music:user_profile to any url scheme

Test urlSchemes in safari before changing code!!!

    Update on GPS
    -------------

Version 1.4 kills GPS. All other updates are still included. A GPS version will come in the future. The issue resides in the conversion of the lat/long to woeid/zip.

    The process
The GPS from LocationServices works great. Immediately gets your lat/long. The issue is, as you know LB is set to use zip/woeid. This means I would have to make a call to a site with your lat/long such as.

    http://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/yql?q=select%20*%20from%20geo.placefinder%20where% 20text%3D"'+Latitude+'%2C'+Longitude+'"%20and%20gf lags%3D"R"'

Where you see Latitude and Longitude is where I would put your lat and long received from LocationServices. If you go here you will see the form.

    http://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public...lags%3D%22R%22

I am able to enter the gps coordinates, and as you see in the form it has woeid. I can use jquery to process this form and pull the woeid, then save it to use in the weather.js, forecast, and uniAW.

    The issue.
It takes this form around 300-500 milliseconds to parse (depending on cellular speed) and find this woeid. On top of that instead of all other functions stopping they continue while this form is processing. Then it finds the woeid.

By this time the weather, element locations, everything has already been loaded (due to no other functions stopping) The fix or work around I added to this is, you can add a complete function to the process the form.

When it processes it I can run other functions. like reloading the weather. This is what I did, but since LB is so complicated and the amount of time I put into making it run as fast as possible. A lot of things broke, and different issues were reported. It doesn't like to be held up.

Issues such as all our plist saves, or any location of any item would be still loaded while this form was parsing. When running the weather again, things that were not there, loaded and updated to be there. This required LB to reload all that it previously loaded (because weather elements were now there). This turns into a huge mess and is why a majority of things didn't work.

    The fix.
At this moment, without causing and slowing of LB. I believe a fix is to use a weather url that accepts lat/long. So instead of parsing one to find woeid, then parsing another to find weather details. I will just use one to find weather details. Sounds easy but this will have to be done for weather.js (main weather), 5 day forecast, and uniAW.

    The Drawbacks
By using a url that accepts lat and long. This will kill the process of adding your own zip. It will be GPS only.

That's it in a nutshell, of course there are other details but I think that explains it well enough. Sorry about the issues, as you see it isn't as easy as pressing a button. I even consulted Saurik about how to achieve this, along with the whole #cycript channel. No one had a clue. Glad to say it was the first Lockscreen to ever use Location Services without a mobile substrate/tweak. Great accomplishment, so I will bring a GPS only version.

Apart from the blurred effect at startup I have no problems with the update. Thank you for the GPS function

Obviously yes, but as of now there are thousands of lines of code that would have to be redone, to deal with new names pulled from weather.com. I literally mean thousands. Apple uses yahoo, and I haven't had to much trouble from yahoo tbh.

I think the most of people issues where they didn't turn on LocationServices. I did update it so you will lose GPS. Sorry.

I am working on the Standalone GPS tonight/morning, and will do so again tomorrow. I have a few ideas. To be honest I should have made them separate packages to begin with.

Many of us may already have gps weather widgets either on our home screen, or if using themes such as paragon, on our tiles and therefore will already have tweaks to grab our long and lat in documents. MyLocation.txt or widgetweather.xml. Could you not write your script to look at these?
WidgetWeather writes Long&Lat, woeid and zip to its .xml file.

    Just a thought.

Also, where are background images stored?

That's a call that is not needed. I have gps coordinates fine and quickly. Not really a need to create a file or read a file when it's already there locally.

The call I am making would be about the same as calling to the .txt file. Have you checked my post above, explains a bit more of the issue.

It's not the lat/long or woeid. It's the issue of adding a function before the weather loads. Which LB is modified to load very quickly. Just need to re-route some functions. I will have a GPS version. Just not as soon as I thought.

Progress is i've moved the request function inside the weather.js instead of in the html. Within the weather call. (Don't have a clue why I didn't think of this before) So far this has been much better as the weather.js can load when it is needed. I need some sleep, but I will continue working on it tomorrow.

Background images are stored in the plist.

You can pull the base64 code, and extract it on many websites available.
