I'm not sure but I think you delete and remove what you have and reinstall the new version do what ya gotta do. I'm already having problems. It keeps crashing in safe mode. So I uninstalled everything and rebooted. Now I'm reinstalling everything and rebooting and see what happens

    Step 1. Unistall OS7 Revive
Step 2. Install the New OS7 Revive from Cydia
    Step 3. Reboot
Step 4. Download Version on ModMyi
Step 5. SSH Version onto Phone
Step 6. Replace Images With the ones i downloaded from Cydia
Step 7. Replace the OS7.dylib with the one ya downloaded from Cydia
    Step 8. Reboot

i did all that and it still crashes to safe mode.

I would do everything you have listed except DO NOT download the new version of OS7 Revive on Cydia - I've heard to many people having issues with it including myself.

The way I was able to get it to work on several occasions is by installing the normal package on Cydia listed "OS7", then replace the dylib & add the Images folder, etc.

    Should work!

dont be too surprised if you see people complaining about this release so you can release 3.0 lol.

Guess what just came out on Cydia?

ColorBanner! It allows you to change the color of the text on those notifications finally! I used Jdot's files he posted awhile back (searched the thread) and had to make a custom theme for ColorBanner as well (if you don't select a theme in ColorBanner you get this annoying pop up everytime you get a notification).

To get this to work follow these steps:

    1. Buy ColorBanner in Cydia (yes its a paid application)
    2. Download this folder: http://www.mediafire.com/?4v3zb2kc6ulkbej
    3. Open the folder and go to "Stock Notification Banner (Thanks Jdot1224)"
    4. SSH into your phone and drop the contents of that folder into System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app (BE SURE TO BACKUP FILES FIRST)
    5. Open the "Notification Icons" folder
    6. I only 4 so far. Drop each of the icons from the folders into the corresponding app in Var/Stash/Applications (the calendar one would go into MobileCal.app) BACKUP FIRST!
    7. Open the "ColorBanner" folder
    8. SSH into your phone and navigate to Library/ColorBanner (NOTE: The very first Library at the start of the hierarchy, not the one with OS7)
    9. Drop the folder "WP7 Red.banner" into that folder (there should be a bunch of other themes there)
    10. Go to your settings and select ColorBanner
    11. Enable it (derp)
    12. Select "WP7 Red" as the theme and "White" as the font color
    13. Respring
    14.

    Thanks man!

I updated the instructions in my previous post with Jdot's stuff all bundled into one download and it now includes Notification Center icons!

Edit: I also apologize for using such a large picture. ModMyi refused to upload screenshot from my phone or recognize the URL of the image from my Photobucket account, so I had to use the direct link from Photobucket

End, Thank You for your hard work!

I asked this earlier, but it didn't get answered, if we currently have 2.1.0, how do upgrade to 2.1.1, from what I read if you never installed OS7, you just install it through cydia and the ZIP files and replace folders, but if you have 2.1.0 do we just download 2.1.1 zip files or do we have to redownload what is on cydia?

Happy to report that my ram levels are back to normal (100mb cap, but that's better than before x)) I think the big perpertrator was the photo tile as once that was removed I got back more than 10mb (as far as I could tell)

Agh, ok so disregard that, the RAM is pretty sporatic... It takes up somewhere between 15-5mb give or take 3mb :S but anyways, I'm definitely back to my old 100mb cap (I've even seen 110 for a brief moment once or twice xD)!

Nobody here cares, i know, I'm just sharing because I'm a loser x)

Lol you're wrong I care! I don't know I have about 5 live tiles including the photo tile I run about 13 Cydia tweaks (winterboard included) and I am consistently at 220-240.

lol, I'd like to run a bunch of tweaks but I don't think my iPod will let me :]

Side note/question for everybody: how much RAM, approximately, would you say the new calendar takes up?
Back on 2.1.1, I fell into the 60s and couldn't even get to 90mb with nothing running >: I'm all scared of it now... xD any approximations would be helpful :] thanks guys!

Is there anyway to just get the lockscreen? I just want to use the lockscreen for now. Any way?

There are some on the OS7 mods thread, but they are a little dated..
