    I probably won't have time to make a whole ui for the theme but italodance did post a ui to go along with this theme if you want to try that out

    I tested on a 3GS and it ran just as fast as my other devices so it might be that you have too much ram being taken up by other tweaks and mobile substrates. But this is theme takes very little memory so performance issues wouldn't be due to the theme. I also haven't gotten any complaints about it being slow on other 3gs's so I would try to free up some memory by getting rid of substrates you don't need as much

    Okay, cydia already gave me a warning that I don't have much capacity left...
    And how can you choose your own background?
    But it is a fantastic theme!

    Yeah that is probably the problem, then. And to choose a different background just click the setting icon in the menu bar and then click change wallpaper and it will bring up a wallpaper switcher. If you want one of your own images then you can send me the image and I will tell you what to do with it

    Sorry I can't access that image, you need to upload it and attach it properly so that I can see it and download it, thanks.

    Yeah no problem. Open Current.plist

    Find <string>launch com.apple.MobileSMS</string>

    And replace with <string>launch com.bitesms</string>

  14. #114
    I tried that... and it still doesn't seem to work. Also, i keep going into editing mode. i tried going in manually and out of edit mode, and also switched the theme through dreamboard - but it still pops up.

    Another question - is there any way to move the phone icon to the location where the SMS icon is and switch their places?

    Anytime anyone had trouble with editing mode it seemed to be fixed by turning it on and off from the menu. Also make sure your permissions are set correctly in ifile. And yes you can do that. Once I get back to my computer I can put up the exact code to accomplish this

    thanks for such an excellent theme! and for once we have a DB theme that is not a resource hog.. =)
    i'm not sure if it's do-able but i would like to ask if anybody can make a simple text clock widget that goes with one of the dropdown menus?

    - for the meantime, here's my setup.. made some slight changes with the icons..

    Thanks! I was trying to make it light on memory because I love my memory lol. And originally I was going to put in a text clock widget and I had one but I could never get it to look quite right with the theme so I ended up just scrapping it and figured it would be a little better on memory if I did without it anyways. And I also like what you did with some of the icons, the notifications look pretty nice!

    Okay in order to switch the phone icon and SMS icon you need to find these blocks of code in the current.plist:

    Code:
    						<dict>
    							<key>BundleID</key>
    							<string>com.apple.MobileSMS</string>
    							<key>Frame</key>
    							<string>55,-8,0,2000</string>
    							<key>LabelStyle</key>
    							<dict>
    								<key>labelFontSize</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelHeight</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelWidth</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelX</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelY</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    							</dict>
    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>AppIcon</string>
    						</dict>
    						<dict>
    							<key>Frame</key>
    							<string>55,0,70,70</string>
    							<key>Image</key>
    							<string>$ROOT/Images/Light/DockMessages.png</string>
    							<key>UserInteraction</key>
    							<false/>
    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>ImageView</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>dockMessagesImage</string>
    						</dict>
    						<dict>
    							<key>Actions</key>
    							<array>
    								<string>launch com.apple.MobileSMS</string>

    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>Button</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>messages</string>
    						</dict>
    Code:
    						<dict>
    							<key>BundleID</key>
    							<string>com.apple.mobilephone</string>
    							<key>Frame</key>

    							<string>Button</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>phone</string>
    						</dict>
    And change them to this:

    Code:
                                                    <dict>
    							<key>BundleID</key>

    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>ImageView</string>

    							<string>Button</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>messages</string>
    						</dict>
    Also if you would like to change the SMS application to bite sms make your new block of code look like this:

    Code:
    						<dict>
    							<key>BundleID</key>
    							<string>com.bitesms</string>
    							<key>Frame</key>
    							<string>275,-8,0,2000</string>
    							<key>LabelStyle</key>
    							<dict>
    								<key>labelFontSize</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelHeight</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelWidth</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelX</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    								<key>labelY</key>
    								<integer>0</integer>
    							</dict>
    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>AppIcon</string>
    						</dict>
    						<dict>
    							<key>Frame</key>
    							<string>275,0,70,70</string>
    							<key>Image</key>
    							<string>$ROOT/Images/Light/DockMessages.png</string>
    							<key>UserInteraction</key>
    							<false/>
    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>ImageView</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>dockMessagesImage</string>
    						</dict>
    						<dict>
    							<key>Actions</key>
    							<array>
    								<string>launch com.bitesms</string>
    							</array>
    							<key>Frame</key>
    							<string>275,0,70,70</string>
    							<key>ViewType</key>
    							<string>Button</string>
    							<key>id</key>
    							<string>messages</string>
    						</dict>
    That should do the trick, I can't test it out because my phone isn't jailbroken at the moment so I hope I didn't mess up any of the instructions.
    Let me know how it works out!

    - if you still have the clock widget, is it possible to have it? and replace the widget menu with a dropdown menu for clock/calendar. oh and the WB UI is from 266 HD.
