    oh btw lopeard i updated the wiki with the loading unloading views and all that
    The menupoints in OS X Leopard are definitely the same size as the menucategories, but I still need to make new ones.

    I'll have a look at the wiki.
    I need to unload and load views instead of just hiding them...
    ...way too many views in this already... and I need A LOT more

    EDIT:

    I just took a look at the WIKI.
    The Dynamic Views are exactly what I need.
    Thanks for updating the WIKI.

    Ok I need to change a lot of things now, but it will definitely make Lopeard faster and less memory consuming.
    Also I can implement a lot more features and views (submenus for the statusbar) include a HUGE lIbrary of Wallpapers to choose from and a lot more stuff.

    IMO 9 spaces is rly overkill.. especially on a ipod, what r u going to even use them all for O.o

    something like this at the tap of a button would be cool its what spaces rly looks like =P

    I might reduce to 6 or 4 spaces. 9 spaces is just fun to play around with and it's the springboardSize it all started with.

    I also thought about having a view like that (your picture), but I can't dynamically create it. It would have to be a "fake"-picture and I don't like that.
    The arrows:
    I think I will toggle those when the FinderTopbar is tapped or make it scrollable. (I want to include more buttons in the topbar for some other ideas) and I need to include the Name of the Window (Games, MacHD..etc)

    also idk if u know this or not just to make sure... u can do an action "set image /Images/whatever.png viewidname" which is pretty useful for changing wallpapers.

    you can dymnamically create it, just change the frame size to smaller. its gonna take a lot of code and thinking but i think its possible

    • choose a different theme in Dreamboard
    • delete the entire Snow Lopeard Folder
    • respring your iPhone
    • download the new Lopeard from http://lopeard.com/downloads/Lopeard_4_BETA_2b.zip
    • unzip the File
    • rename the resulting folder to "Snow Lopeard"
    • copy the folder to your iPhone in /private/var/mobile/Library/DreamBoard/...

    I can't test other devices and/or firmwares.
    I did everything you said and it didnt work My version of DreamBoard is:1.1.1 5/14/11 beta iPhone firmware is 4.3.2 4th generation iphone
    Edit figured it out had to download on my phone then put it in dreamboard folder

    Wallpapers can be changed
    The pickerWindow will have different categories (left white box) and you can choose them in the right white box
    on top is a preview of the current wallpaper
    I will also add a transparent menubar toggle
    ..and TONS of Wallpapers
    ...just like on Mac OS X

    I see that your pretty avid on having a HUGE selection of wallpapers, but I have to say this. Alot of people ask for a bunch of WP's to chose from but they just want choice, when they find the one in the group they like, 9/10 they stick with just that one wallpaper. Honestly, when I get a WP I like I use it for a while, maybe change it once a week, and for the amount of RAM wallpapers eat up due to having to load each individual picture its just not worth it. Even with a dynamic view, youll still be using a TON of ram when you open the WP switcher. Just my 2 cents however.

    Theme is coming along extremely nice, and with SirTim helping out, I have no doubts that this will be the best, more accurate snow leopard port available.

    I think I'll putt the statusbar-toggler up there since its a pretty small space in the lower part of the box

    I will be including about 50 OS X wallpapers..just to make it more OS X like.

    The dynamic views make it easier to manage and the previews are small in size.. It's OK with memory.

    Oh and this already IS the best Leopard port so far. Let's see who actually helps out on this.
    I'm OK with doing it all by myself but help is always apreciated.

    I already told you I'm in for the plist help. Not real sure what you want done. I don't wanna take the time to make and code things you don't want in the core. Pm me about some more specific things you need done and I'll get to work.

    I've never worked with help, so I don't know how this will actually work.

    We need a lot of images, icons, wallpapers,... etc

    The PLIST is kind'o my thing. You can make modificaions to it (like Sir Timothy arranged the dock differently) and I might use it in the CORE-plist.

    I need to check every single bit of code, so if modifications are made I need some kind of log.
    in your modified PLIST you can just add a comment . keep the MOD comments at front only
    Include yourNAME, the DATE and the LINENUMBERS that hold the MODIFICATIONS.
    the blue code holds your info
    the red code are your modifications
    Example for a modified code:
    Code:
    <!-- MOD: ========== MODIFIED BY yourNAME ========== -->
    <!-- MOD: ========== MODIFIED LINES   1001-1015, 2367-2390 ========== -->
    <!-- MOD: ========== MODFIIED DATE 00/00/2011 ========== -->

    Normal CODE

    <!-- MOD: ========== START MODIFICATIONS ========== -->

                   <!--  ===============   START WallpaperChanger previewBG   ===============  -->

                   <dict>
                        <key>FrameHeight</key>
    <!--  MOD: changed FrameHeight from 40 to 50  -->
                        <integer>50</integer>
                        <key>FrameWidth</key>
    <!--  MOD: changed FrameWidth from 60 to 70  -->
                        <integer>70</integer>
                        <key>FrameX</key>
                        <integer>100</integer>
                        <key>FrameY</key>
                        <integer>75</integer>
                        <key>Image</key>
                        <string>/DreamBoard/Snow Lopeard/Images/Wallpaper/previewBG.png</string>
                        <key>ViewType</key>
                        <string>ImageView</string>
                        <key>id</key>
                        <string>WallpaperPreBG</string>
                   </dict>

                   <!--  ===============   END WallpaperChanger previewBG   ===============  -->

    <!--  MOD: removed View = nameOfView  -->

    <!-- MOD: ========== END MODIFICATIONS ========== -->

    normal CODE
    I will post the PSD files for some images here.

    We also need more widgets, so if you find OS X-like widgets that work (I don't have a working OS X weather widget yet) please post them here or send me the files to [email protected]

    Best help right now is looking for BUGS.

    Known Bugs:
    Statusbar hide does not work correctly
    Air Sharing is spelled incorrect (Air Saharing)

    YOU NEED THE LATEST BETA OF DREAMBOARD
    REPO: dreamboard.us/beta

    old non-BETA versions of DreamBoard don't support rotate and many other functions needed

    hiding the statusbar needs some time.
    This is just a BETA so I don't worry about it too much.
    If it bothers you search Cydia for "Statusbar hide" and install it. (but this will also remove it from all other Themes that manage the SpringBoard)
