    THANKS FOR THE SLACKER ICON!!!

I am still having issues with the Slacker, Facebook, and Twitter/Echofon icons having the grey box around them.... I am now on 4.1 and its a 3GS. Any thoughts? I have renamed the files from earlier.

After you rename the 3 @2x.png files, did you deselect/reselect/respring the theme in winterboard (reboot also for the fun of it)?

Just want to thank the theme creator Storyr. This is a beautiful theme and I can't speak highly enough about the instructions. Even a n00b like me could do it!!

Thanks to others in this thread for pointing us n00bs in the right direction with regards to icons not working and such like

I use this for my lockscreen with a diff theme and it deletes the icon/folder names. I checked off white icon labels in winterboard and put it above this theme as someone else suggested but it only does it for the undocked icons n not for the docked icons. anyone know a way to get the docked icon names back? love the widget btw

Very neat theme! I like the simplicity of it a lot.

By the way, is there any way to get rid of just the "as of" part and the temperature? I just want the calendar and the clock.

    Thanks!

To get all of your labels back, remove the following sections from sideWinderHD.theme/Info.plist:

    Code:
    	<key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    	<string>color: transparent; text-shadow: transparent 0px 1px 0px;</string>

    	<key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    	<string>color:transparent</string>

You'll need to edit Widget.html for this one. I think the easiest way would be to just hide them. Try this:

The sections you want to hide are <div id="weather"> and <div id="footer">. Find these and change them to look like this:

    <div id="weather" style="display: none;">

    ...

    <div id="footer" style="display: none;">

Is there a way to integrate links into the widgets, that would open the weather, clock, or calendar app respectfully?
That would make three less icons to keep around, and a lot of sense.

    Updated. Download from first post...

    October 23 2010
► Fixed issue with Taiwan region format (weather wouldn't update)
► Moved settings.xml to main theme folder (for convenience)
► Added "data saver" mode to settings. New setting "forecast" adds the ability to turn off weather forecast data - reducing data consumption by 75%.
► Added Icons folder for app-store icons. This fixes the issue with black backgrounds on transparent app-store icons.
► Added additional com.apple.weather icons [email protected] and Icon-Celsius.png. Fixes issue where themed weather icon wasn't working in certain regions.
► Now, when in power save mode, seconds dot won't be visible.
► Bonus: Includes orange icon set

I'm using this for my lockscreen. How can I make the clock show ? Also I see there are supplied icon sets but how come no image shows when the theme is activated?

Or if anyone knows how to remove the date from the lockscreen clock but keep the time that would be good too.

    Hey storyr, great theme btw.
Im a noob when it comes to winterboard and themes and stuff, just wondering:

1)is there a way to get rid of the temperature? cuz i heard from others that it drains the battery pretty fast, and also i looked at ur other awesome theme fiftyfootshadow, for that theme is there a way for no animation? cuz that tree picture looks really nice
2)i have a 5 icon dock, will it still work on ur theme?
3)is this springboard designed so that we basically slide our dock instead of the main page on the springboard to locate our apps?
4)how did u put 2 docks? (1 on top and 1 on bottom?)
    5) as for instructions, i only got up to part 1.. where do i find this? ► Copy sideWinderHD.theme folder to /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/

Thank you for ur help and i really appreciate it!!! nice theme!!

Sorry, but you'll need to provide a little more information about what the problem is...

    1) It doesn't drain the battery. If I hear that one more time I'll explode.
    2) 5 icon dock works fine.
    3) I use InfiniDock to slide the dock. I also have two pages, so the icons at the top slide too.
    4) The top is not really a dock, it's just the regular icons.
    5) Theme installation 101 - unzip it and copy it to your device.

I was referring to the weather icon sets sorry if I was unclear. You know like klear, tick, stardock etc. Is there a way to display the time on this theme? I know it's possible just dunno how.

Basically I want the clock up on the top to match the theme somehow but without the date underneath the stock clock. I would use clockhide but I need to tell the time right now haha.

    Thanks!!!

Ok, I see. This theme doesn't display weather icons, so that setting has no effect.

The lockscreen looks great. Did you do that yourself? If so, it should be easy for you to add a clock. Use the css class "pump_time" to get the current time...
