I can't get the mail widget to show up in smartscreen. I'm going to play with this again. My wife and I are going to have a little "alone" time.

Catch ya tomorrow. I really appreciate all of your help Bro!!!

I need help....I am havig a hard time changing the lockscreen background. I don't have any pics that I like so I want to change the whole background. I've tried changing several different files inside of the theme but nothing is working.

  13. #330
    Delete the lockbackground.HTML

    And good morning!

    Good Morning Bro!

That was the first thing I did and it didn't work. I eventually had to rename my background the same names as what is in the Lockscreen folder. Same image with the two names. I must've done something wrong the first time....I'm going to try that again. Also, how do I get rid of the black bar going behind the clock?

  15. #332
I'm thinking clock hide should have gotten rid of that. This might be a question for ziggy.

I thought so too. I've enable and disabled clock hide and resprung each time....nothing works.

Interesting, I actually theme the clock base itself. So that image shouldn't even look like that. The file for that image is in telephony file and is located in bundles/telephonyUi/telephonyUIbarlcd.png

With the lockscreen background that you supplied with the theme, the black bar doesn't show up behind the clock. If I insert my own background, it shows up. I'm leaving this alone for a while....I have chores to do. LOL

hey Ziggy, maybe you can help me out. How do you change the fonts for the names under the app names? How the heck do you guys get those custom names for the carrier names btw? i cant get that to work. i still cant get the percentage for the battery to show up either.

Also, do you happen to have weather icons you used that are displayed on the first page of this thread?

You can install iOS 4 fonts manually via SSH or USB, since FontSwap currently does not handle them.

The very first thing to do is, of course, download one or more fonts via the Download (iOS 4) button (e.g. Hand of Sean) and unzip them; in each zip you will find: Helvetica.ttc, MarkerFeltThin.ttf, LockClock.ttf, PhonepadTwo.ttf, HelveticaNeue.ttc and PhoneKeyCaps.ttf (where available) and one or more license/readme files.
We suggest to always read the license files you may find: they can be html, txt, pdf or something similar.

The next step is to connect to your iPhone and overwrite the original fonts:

    * go to the folder /System/Library/Fonts/Cache
    * if you haven’t already done so, backup the default font files (Helvetica.ttc – MarkerFeltThin.ttf – LockClock.ttf – PhonepadTwo.ttf – HelveticaNeue.ttc – PhoneKeyCaps.ttf) to a safe place or rename them
    * copy to /System/Library/Fonts/Cache the font files only, i.e. the ttc/ttf files mentioned above
    * respring your iPhone (use SBSettings or simply select-deselect a theme in Winterboard and exit)
    * ..done! Enjoy your new fonts!

Note: follow this how-to at your own risk, we do not accept any responsibility for any damage that it may cause.

^^ you can get your Fonts here

Custom Carrier is below and goes in..
    back up first pls
obviously change the carrier to your own (mines o2)
    system/library/carrier bundles/(your network folder)

You can also make your own carrier of course

    Battery percentage here...
