    Lightbulb Webapp Springboard Theme?
I've been curious about the possibility of this for a while now. When webapps are installed on the iPhone they are launched in two main ways. One opens in safari while the other opens independently on its own, almost like an app would. "Glyphboard" demonstrates this when installed (Glyphboard). Theoretically if a developer created a webapp that used javascript to launch iPhone applications outside of the webapp (Like certain tweet links do on the web), then the developer could theme the iPhone WITHOUT a jailbreak?

the javascript wouldn't be allowed to run anywhere within the file system.
so its a nice theory but it just wouldnt work due to the "lock down" of the system.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Is there another way to launch the applications? When I visit sites on my iPhone (which currently isn't jailbroken) certain links are able to launch my twitter client for example. My bad but if this isn't using javascript than how are these apps launched?
