you need to append most of the images with ~iphone, e.g.

    [email protected]~iphone.png

Edit: look in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ChatKit.framework for the ones that need it

Hey pahoeho, which thread did you find the solution in? I looked in the real-paged theming thread, but I heard that app crashes springboard. Let me know, thanks!

another one. how do i theme the live clock in 4.1?

  7. #546
I used Panorama. I had to put some white space in front of the background though, as it wouldn't align correctly.

took me a while, but i read through all the 37 pages of this post. learned a few things, and i want to say thanks for that :]

i'm wondering though, am i the only one having trouble with changing the page indicators? they were working for me before, but now they don't even appear anymore on the springboard.
could it be the same as with the "FolderSwitcherBG" and that some cache might need to be deleted, but i'm not that experienced to figure it out on my own. could someone please help?

i'm also having problems with the battery on the status bar...

my battery or status bar will not theme while on the springboard:

it actually only themes the INSIDE of the battery even though i didn't add an image for that! lol

and in irony, if i open an app or mail:

it themes the status bar and battery!

could someone help me out, please? i would appreciate it A LOT!

To theme the status bar on springboard you need to change Translucent_Base.png which is in \Theme\Bundles\com.Apple.TelephonyUI (Note this themes for springboard and lockscreen) for status bar indicators they are located in \Theme\UIImages and are named

    UIPageIndicator.png
    [email protected]

    UIPageIndicatorCurrent.png
    [email protected]

As for your battery I am unsure why it would not work...

Where/What are your battery pngs located/named in your theme?

    Hope I helped

Last post I meant page indicators not status bar :/

I've been having some trouble with two images that I'd like to change but I haven't been able to find just yet.

The first one is the black rectangular shape that lays behind the Musicplayer when in lockscreen (see screenshot below). To clarify, I want to change/manipulate the whole UI of the Media Player in the lockscreen. Not the play, prev, next, pause or volume. The black background of that interface is what I want to change (including its borders)

EDIT: NEW IMAGES. The images I'd like to change are marked with green.

The other one is the black shadowy image that appears right below the status bar in this screenshot:

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance

    @ FlyntFire:
    i FINALLY found the solution!
turns out that it actually had nothing to do with the way i was naming the files (they were all correctly named), instead, it had to do with the orders the themes were in Winterboard. i'm using Typophone 5 for my lockscreen, and for some reason, it was messing up my page indicators and everything else. after i moved it behind my main theme, it all was working fine.

thank you so much for trying to help though, i appreciate it

    @ Junjah:
sorry, i do not understand what the problem is. could you try explaining it a bit more? thanks.

has anyone found a way to theme Messages (the 'send' button, the page layout, etc.)?

Yes my messages are themed see pic for some help, the background is

    Var/stash/themes/THEMEname/SMSBackground.png

    Others are at
    Var/stash/themes/THEMEnameBbundles/com.apple.MobileSMS

Another thing to point out is that the UISounds file only works when it's at the bottom of the list in Winterboard

    See pic

PS these are my images at this location, I don't guarantee theme to work but they do work on 3GS 4.0 maybe 4.1, the send and pic don't work on 4.1 so the image name must of changed

I'm on my iPhone, so I have a single upload per post limitation

    @shanejoe
hmm.... i'm going to check to make sure they're named like yours.
do you know how to theme (i think it's called the overlay of messages)? basically, i'm trying to theme the bar where it shows the contacts name, and the bottom bar of the screen.

(circled in red all that i want to theme):

  21. #557
    EDIT
Yeah I don't know how I did this lol
It's all UIImages and it takes forever to sort out, ps there's over 1000 images in the FULL folder

Your best solution is to go get MP2 from the source..... PM ME FOR IT as I can't post this source to the public for MMI legal reason, I'm providing it only because this theme doesn't exist anywhere else and it is free

Turn on the theme in Winterboard
See what it does and what you can take from it
    Look though the UIImages folder
    Implement your changes

    Please thank me on site
