So this is the second theme I've been working on, along with my other theme. It's pretty early in development right now. Looking for any feedback and possibly a name, thanks.

I might setup a beta repo for my themes so you can download the latest updates and such before it's released publicly if anyone wants.

    Progress:

nice concept - the icons look rough tho.
It would be cool if this site supported the classica2 theme...

    He started just like me
My "Perfekt" thread started also with 4 icons (+glass background) and look what I've got in just 3 days.
I think he's placing a preview thread because he wants feedback and ideas.
    but.. I expect more!

You guys here at MMi are spoiled with fully lavished, navigation-style themes =P

I believe seang (as far as I can tell from his works) is an icon-based themer. These themes take a LOT of time as they require each icon to be made very delicately. The scenes that usually have such themes are iPTF and MacThemes.

We don't get very many icon-based themes here at MMi, so it's a refreshing sight to see a promising one here. Good job so far, seanG; I hope to see more from you here ^_^

Hehe, I like the style of that theme, and nice job for 3 days of work.

And yeah, it's meant to be a preview and to get any feedback/ideas in the early development of it instead of having to go back and change all the icons

Hmm, a great example of that might be uhh, what's that theme called.. Inspired OS?

Thanks nitsua, I appreciate the support, especially from someone like yourself. Nice to see you again :P

I actually did have a few navigation based themes going a while ago, but I didn't completely finished them and decided to try some icon based themes out ;P

Yeah, I got banned from iPTF for, well, multiple reasons, lol.

All we had back in the day was only icon themes. Artistically, they are challenging. One of these days, I hope I get time to make one. I know I'll be anal about it though and take forever, lol.

    Today's update:

So for today I decided to work on some non-icon based elements of this theme.

    - Experimented with a live clock widget at the bottom.
    - Made an AppIconOverlay, AppIconMask, and AppIconShadow so all App Store apps are more uniform.
    - Started working a little bit on a music player skin.

    - Pre-Release -

Here's a preview build of the theme for anyone who wants to help report bugs or wants to just help overall. I've decided to call it 'Shine a Light'.

    Some bugs:

    - Some icons are a little blurry. This is due to me making large versions of them and then shrinking them down, I was unaware of that and will work on getting it fixed.

    - Only about 12 icons, but remember, this is a preview build.

    Recommended after install:

Use iWipe Cache so icon overlay will work.

    Use reflective dock.

    This version is 0.5.

    Download.
