Default Rumors of Apple to Release Optional Stylus Accessory With 12.9-inch iPad Pro

It has been recently reported by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, that Apple may be releasing an optional stylus accessory for its upcoming 12.9-inch ‘iPad Pro.’ Many rumors have been circulating the web claiming that the Cupertino-based company is working on a larger iPad, set to release this year. The rumors also claim that since the iPad will be much bigger in size, many creative and enterprise employees will be using the device. And since it will be used more in businesses and large companies, a stylus may be more convenient to use on the iPad.

Given that it’s more precise than a person’s fingers, a stylus can be more convenient to use than the combination of keyboard and mouse in some cases. Therefore, we believe Apple’s stylus will improve the user experience of 12.9-inch iPad.
Although the stylus concept is circulating the web, many are saying that it won’t be an accessory that gets included when purchasing the device. Instead, those who like the idea of the stylus will have to purchase it separately. Kuo also noted that he doubts the iPad will include the accessory since it would be a relatively costly stylus. If it were included in the iPad, he stated that the base cost of the new device would be too expensive.

We don’t think all users will need a stylus initially. Coupled with its unfavorable cost structure, high selling prices may turn consumers off if the 12.9-inch iPad is always bundled with it. We therefore expect the stylus to be an optional accessory before sufficient user feedback is received.
Apple’s iPad Pro is said to launch sometime in the second or third quarter of 2015, and the stylus is also said to release around the same time. Kuo predicted that a lightning connector will be used to charge the rumored stylus. He also predicted that future models will be upgraded to include a gyroscope accelerometer, which will let users write possibly in the air and on other platforms other than the iPad. What are your thoughts on these rumors? Let us know in the comments below.

So after everyone complaining that Samsung copies Apple, it now looks like Apple are copying Microsoft's Surface Pro stylus

uuummmm... actually.. if you were familiar with Graphic artists/ designers/ illustrators, animators and the like.... they've been using the stylus with Wacom Tablets to do digital work for 10-15 years now. It only makes sense for Apple (which has long been toted to be a fav among creatives) to cater to these ideologies..... not just 'microsoft, Samsung et Al'..... the world is a big place! full of fascinating changes! Wow!

As much as I agree with this, I do find it hilarious that the same argument used in a pro-Android or Microsoft sense is blasphemy.

    ......beware......
    Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
