Default iPad Gets Cozy in New Pillow Case Cushion

Ever wish your iPad could somehow be embedded into a soft and snugly pillow that rests nicely on your lap when enjoying a quiet, relaxing evening at home? Me neither. Of course, that doesn't mean such an idea is altogether a bad one. Case in point: a new pillow case cushion for your touchscreen tablet.

Meet the "ePillow," a product that likely gets its name in response to the potential threat of lawsuits had the makers gone with the more obvious "iPillow" moniker. Still, the folks behind ePillow say that their case for the iPad will add comfort like never before to the user experience.

Here's how the company hypes its new offering:

Comfortable - Use your iPad comfortably anywhere, anytime, even sitting in bed or on the couch. With ePillow, you won't get tired of holding your iPad and it's perfect for watching movies with a friend.

Convenient - Whether you want to play a game or do some typing, ePillow has you covered. ePillow has an adjustable viewing angle that fits the iPad in both portrait and landscape modes.

Portable - Great for use on the go. ePillow will make using your iPad comfortable in any environment. ePillow is perfect for travel whether flying or driving. iPad fits the ePillow with or without most cases.
Any interest in the above? So far, it isn't exactly clear if the ePillow will become the next big must-have accessory in iPad-land. But the product has, to date, garnered some very positive reviews. And, for now at least, it doesn't appear that Apple has any issue with the pillow case cushion for the iPad pictured above.

The ePillow is available in either black or brown and can be yours for $29.95.

Now you not only have to carry your iPad but a pillow as well.

I think this is the follow up article to yesterday's horrible idea of the day

But my wish, really, would be an iPad embedded into a soft and snugly pillow, the OTHER way. So when I'm feeling sleepy I could rest my head on a soft and snugly iPad instead of a cold, hard iPad with sharp edges and a tendency to crack when I put weight on it.

Just because none of us want it does not mean others don't. I'm sure some people will like this - and a very small percentage of a very large market can still be worth it.

If anyone is like me, then they probably have a case on it already and cases don't work with most accessories.

No doubt it'll cost over 20 but is worth about 1.00
Ugly design wouldn't waste my money on it
