    Default Upgrading after Jailbreak
If I go ahead and jailbreak 3.2.2 now, what will the upgrade procedure be for 4.2 when it finally drops?

I have many apps shared between three iDevices and needed to manually select them all when first setting up the iPad. Am I going to have to do this again when restore/upgrading? Will I lose the data in my App Store apps?

My procedure for upgrading my other jailbroken iDevices was always itunes backup-restore current version-upgrade to new version-sync apps back in-jailbreak. Will this order work for the iPad as well?

It is normally good practice to setup as new not restore from backup. There are strings from previous jailbreaks that get left in that could cause problems.

As for when 4.2 drops then you will have to wait. Unless you don't mind not being jailbroken.
