    Welcome to MMi!

There are lots of apps for kids. I personally don't have children and don't use them, but I see lots in the app store. Open up the App store, navigate to "Categories" and select the "Education" category. There you will find lots of educational apps/games for kids

As for regular, "non-educational" games, I'm not so sure. Maybe Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja is easy and fun to play for a child as well.
