Thread: installing apps in pxl format?

  1. #1
Question installing apps in pxl format?
How do install pxl format apps. I'm trying to re-istall dock v1 back on my phone but I only have it this format. I kinda prefer v1 over v2(too cluttered and difficult to launch). I like to use SSH for install.
    Thanx for the help

is there anyway to install via ssh? I have never used ibricker and not sure what advantages it brings. I am very comfortable with ssh tho.

This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

I'd say that's just another advantage over the "installer' method. You can very easily re-install whatever apps you want and it makes it much easier after an Apple up to rebuild your iPhone back to its modded glory.

pxl packages can be found HERE

pxl is just a zip file rename *.pxl to *.zip and unzip

You can read the PxlPkg.plist for hints on where everything goes, for example the dock pxl manual instructions are here: http://www.rocksahead.com/2007/09/01/iphone-dock-20/

Breezy doesn't even open for me. Just says it can't open the Apple firmware and then it quits.
