I have a vibrant as well and can't stand it. I thought I would like android since I love hacking these iphones. The apps in the android market kinda suck. I like to play games on mine and gameloft is finally coming out with decent games for android and they still are not up to par.
Android phones have faster processors for a reason. My 3GS is still faster in terms of smooth transitions and such because if I heard correctly android is made in JAVA which requires more cycles to process.

What's the clock speed of the iPhone four ? Galaxy S 1000Mhz. Makes a different on movies and downloads imagine apple OS on that!? 3gs is 650 MHz I believe.

That is because the iOS is built for a specific hardware. It is optimized for it. The Android platform is built for different hardware. Yes the companies tweak it but still not as fine tuned as the iOS for the hardware.
