Thread: I lost the metal circle that the home button makes contact to.

Unhappy I lost the metal circle that the home button makes contact to.
Does anyone know what this part is called or what I can make a replacement out of? You know, underneath the home button there's this little metal circle?

I'm wondering if I could cut one out of the metal of another home button??? EDIT: it worked like a charm!

Kind of strange coming from a "apple repair" place in New Orleans dont you think? Bad way to advertise competency that's for sure.
