Default iPhone 3G losing signal after repair
    Hi guys,

I had a problem with my headphone connection, so I got a flex cable for replace. I had no problem changing this part, but after that my phone is getting about half signal it used to (or no signal in places where signal used to be weak...)

As far as I know, the gsm antenna is placed at the back bottom part, and i didnt touch this part while replacing headphone jack.

Any idea why this happens? May an antenna replacement fix it?

Btw, i already tried to readjust SIM card, even trying with another one (phone is unlocked)

Thanks for your help, it's driving me crazy!

Hi guys, I changed antenna with no luck... after googling it i've discovered it doesnt seem a hardware problem, but a blacksn0w issue with 3.1.2 firm (a lot of people having same issue!)

shame i still haven't found any solution for this. Is there any other way to unlock 3.1.2 different than blacksn0w?

    thanks!

    Try this:

Restore it first (3.1.2 only), then redsn0w for cydia, unlock tru rc3. then Activate your phone on itunes. Post result.
