Thread: Baseband Eraser (1.2) 04.05.01_G

  1. #1
    Default Baseband Eraser (1.2) 04.05.01_G
iclarified has come up with a new solution to erase your baseband if you upgraded to 1.2 beta and want to downgrade.
"Use iEraser to erase the 04.05.01_G baseband that gets installed with the new 1.2 iphone firmware. If you updated to the new 1.2 iphone firmware and wish to return to a lower firmware (ie 1.1.4) the install this package to erase your baseband. Once complete put your iphone into recovery mode and then use itunes to restore."
This can be found on iclarifieds source in the installer which if you haven't already got it here it is http://installer.iClarified.com, let me know how you get on with this.

THANK YOU! for posting this ive been trying relentlessly for about 6 hours trying to erase the 04.05.01_G firmware so i could restore my iphone back to 1.1.4 instead of the shitty 1.2 (2.0) BETA firmware, which caused this whole problem!

i downgraded back to 1.1.4 but the installer icon is not there and the modem is now 4.05.01G. is there anything i can do to install the installer?

i have tried the 1.2 baseband eraser and it just doesnt work. I downgraded to 1.1.4 (with 1.2 baseband) jailbroke, then installed BSD subsystem, then installed the eraser and restored. Once restored to 1.1.4 again, it still have the 1.2 baseband. Is there anything else i need to do?

Dont install BSD, just downgrade to 1.1.4, jailbreak, install baseband eraser, and then do one more restore in itunes to a fresh 1.1.4.

i tried that and it says i need the BSD to install the eraser

Awesome...is there anyway too download the ieraser application and then put it on my iphone? without installer

  17. #13
no, an easier way is to pwn your iphone with the 1.1.4 firmware. Just restore from 1.2 to 1.1.4 normally. Boot out of recovery with independence then pwn your phone to a custom 1.1.4 firmware(unlocked). Once you are on that new firmware open bootneuter and it will downgrade your baseband. Then if you dont want it to be unlocked uncheck unlock and neuter. If you uncheck those then restore to normal 1.1.4 and you will be back to a factory fresh 1.1.4

For all that have the bootloader 4.6,i have written a baseband virginizor. it works with the 04.05.01_G baseband. after the launch you will have the 03.14.08_G.

    Add the Source "s.iphone-forums.de"
    Goto the category "iPhone-Forums.de"
There you find a file "Baseband Viginizer für BL. 4.6"
Install it (and wait 5-6 min.)

For all they how don't have WiFi

    - patchted ZiPhone (Windows) (Mac)

For Windows: extract the file you download and start the "start.bat" and wait

For Mac OS X: Start the extract file, check "Unlock for any carrier" press "Start" and wait

    For more instructions KLICK ME

at last sry for my bad english!

    Have anyone try it?
pls give me a feedback... if it works or not?
