If you hit at the "changes" tab, does that show any results? I get that you having an issue if you can't find tweaks, could be a jailbreak issue. You could try running the Taig jailbreak again to see if it resolves your issue.
Did you restore from a backup before the jailbreak?

That is automatically generated by the forum, it changes as your post count increases. I can change it also if you have something you'd rather it said.

bought an unlocked iphone 4s, when I activated it I used a restore from back up from the previous broken iphone 4s i had because I did not want to update to the latest IOS version (no jailbreak aval for that) so it did restore it to 8.1.1. all successful. Before I did the jailbreak I backed up like the Taig jailbreak tutorial indicated, and ran the jailbreak. Is that what you meant? btw, thank you for taking the time to try to help me.

That's is most likely your issue. You should never restore from a backup of a jailbroken device. A DFU restore and set up as New phone is highly recommended.

oh wait....Im sorry i misunderstood your question. When I restored the devise was NOT jailbroken at that time.

ugh...sorry, just re read your answer. the broke iphone 4s i previously had was jailbroken when i did a backup to itunes. I didnt know...so your saying itunes kind of saved the jailbreak? so when i got the new unlocked 4s and did a restore, it put the jailbreak back on it? Im confused a little....err maybe a lot.

Yes. It does save some files and corrupts the jailbreak.

Only 2 options. Live with it or give up the jailbreak and restore. Fingers crossed a new jailbreak will be released soon.

afraid of that...lol. but its not as though im using my jailbreak anyhow, right? thank you so much! just to make sure im on the same page as you. a suggestion would be to upgrade to latest IOS version, theeeeeen back up, so it will be a clean back up. then be patient for a new jailbreak?

Always do a DFU restore, and set up as new before jailbreaking.
