    Default App Data
I just purchased an iPhone 5s to replace my aging iPod touch 5. Once it arrives I planned to DFU set up as new, as that always seems to produce the least problems. However, as an avid iOS gamer I'd rather not lose all the precious hours I've poured into some of my games. Is there any way to keep my game data whilst setting up as new? I've never needed that advice to keep my game data, but I've had an extremely buggy 7.1 jailbreak and I'd rather not have to deal with that again.

If you DFU the iPhone5S, you can either restore it as a brand new system or restore using the apps and configs (and saves) from the iPod touch.
This will transfer all your configs from the iPod touch and if there are any borked configs, it will transfer over to the iPhone5S

The other option is to use iFunBox to back up the game save data from the iPod touch. Once you have completed installing the apps on the new iPhone5S, then restore the gamesaves via iFunBox. This is a slower and more tedious method.
