Default Messed up with file system iOS 7.1.2
    Hi all

    i have iPhone 4s jailbroken iOS 7.1.2
i mistakenly deleted some files using ifunbox

    now its not working.

not detecting sim card, no app working (not even native apps)

i dont want to go to iOS8
i tried to restore ios 7.1.2 by using seperate downloaded 7.1.2 IPSW file. but itunes didnot allow that it says your device is not elligible for that

    Please sombody help me

Sorry but, obviously, you deleted something very essential for the system. If you can't enter anything on your phone, the only choice you have is upgrade to 8.0.2. Apple stopped signing 7.1.2, so that's history. Did you try hard reset?

I've never completely screwed up my device that bad, but if by any chance you had semi-restore or L.E.X. you may have a chance by using SSH through ifunbox.

    ......beware......

It's worth noting that iLEX and Semi-Restore are both userland tools. If your filesystem has been corrupted, these tools CANNOT fix that issue.

The only solutions I can think of are trying to isolate exactly what you deleted and possibly copying it back over from a donor phone or IPSW (then trying to sort out all sorts of permissions issues etc.) or restoring to 8.0.2. The former will probably be much more trouble than it's worth, if it's even possible.
