    Default i5 Restore issue.
    Hey guys,

Long time member / modder etc.
never had this issue before. Always been able to overcome the 40XX codes but not this time.

Essentially stuck in a loop here,

Go to DFU and still get 4005, 4013 or 4014 on restore to iOS 8.

    This shows on screen too.

    Help please!!!!

To my knowledge, these errors are hardware related.....starting from cable, port, battery.......so try to eliminate one by one.....maybe you will come to the right conclusion.....

I've never seen a non-jailbroken production device show verbose logging on screen like that, particularly during a DFU restore to stock iOS... huh.

My gut says hardware issue as well--perhaps the NAND is going bad?

Yeah that's what I was thinking,

Haven't seen the codes on non-jb, will take it apart tomorrow and have a proper look at parts, see what I can come too.

    Cheers guys! Report back.
