Thread: MobileSubstrate is completely missing?!?!

    Default MobileSubstrate is completely missing?!?!
installed cydia on 7.0.4 on my 4s it was working fine.. only installed minimal substrate tweaks. mostly modded my games and such. until one day i noticed MobileSubstrate is missing i cnt find it in saurik's repo and it is not installed.

mobilesubstrate_0.9.4001 is still on Saurik's repo.
I have to reinstall it from time to time on my 4S and then respring, not reboot. I use SwitchSpring, free on Cydia, especially for iOS 7.x.
Nothing is impossible only miracles take a bit longer!

see but my problem is that it seems to have disappeared from cydia altogether. it is not in "Packages" nor is it in saurik's repo... thus not giving me an option to install/re-install/remove the package. i should also note that my substrate tweaks do not work or show up in the settings app. i am truly at a loss with what to do with my iphone..

Open Cydia, select "Manage" at the bottom then select "Settings" on the top left and finally select "Developer".

Then "refresh" your packages and try your search again, it should be there.

It's always been a developers tweak, but is usually installed with Cydia during the jailbreak process.
