Default A little help with my 3G jailbroken twice
    Hi everyone
I have recently jailbroken my 3G and then decided to try to return it to its original state. I had to use TU to get it to boot and it is currently running 4.1 (8B117) and I want to try to rebreak it. I already tried it once after my initial attempt and it was a bit flaky so I once again returned it to my current state. I am using the ipad 061500 BB. When I try to rebreak it now it hangs up on the screen where it says downloading JB software. I am using redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc15. Also is there a way to get it to its original factory settings? It is running ok now but I really want cydia...

Restore to stock 4.1 again, use exit recovery to kick out 1015 and jailbreak with redsnow b6 , here is the file

You know you have to shift + restore in order to browse to the firmware when restoring in iTunes, right ?

You already have ipad bb , you don't need to check ipad bb again unless necessary.

Upon restoring to stock 4.1, if you have the valid sim to trigger into Homescreen, it is better to use it rather than use Redsn0w to hactivate it.
Let me know if you have any success.

I got it done and the only issue is that some of the apps I purchased are not showing up on my springboard... maybe my phone is to old?
