Default Help: Adding apps to iphone
This might sound a bit trivial to you, but I am kind of lost in how to add to apps onto the iphone.

First of all, I have upgraded to 1.1.4 using the Ziphone software(Do It All button) and it's unlocked and activated to be used. I can also see it created the installer icon as well.

My first question is, what is the diff between jailbreak and unlock? Do I need to still do another step of jailbreaking so I can add apps?

Do I need to have wifi/edge to install/add these apps or can I manually install them using USB connection plugged to my computer.

    Btw...I am using OSX.

    Thanks.

    1. Jailbreaking simply adds the "installer" application so you can install 3rd party apps. Unlocking removes the carrier lock on the phone, so you can use any service provider's sim card in it. For example, if you use TMobile, you would need to unlock the phone because most iphones are locked to ATT.

    2. In order to install the applications via installer, you will need edge or wifi.
