Hi I would like to update my iphone that is jailbroken and unlocked from 3.1.3 to 4.3.3 without going to 4.3.5 while preserving the baseband 05.12.01 so that i can continue keeping it unlocked with untrasnow. Please help me i'm new to this and need a step by step process including activating later on without original sim card, also please include the place for me to download the software. Did you use Tiny Umbrella to check which SHSH blobs are available?

SHSH blobs are required to restore any non-current iOS (except 3GS 4.1).
Download and run Tiny Umbrella (link below, post #1), advanced tab,
    ... check 'set Hosts to Cydia', Save SHSH, give it a min to finish;
... uncheck 'set Hosts to Cydia', Save SHSH, give it a min to finish.
... In the General tab, what SHSH blobs are displayed?

If you have SHSH blobs for version 4.3.3, Tiny Umbrella + TSS server to serve the old blob, and a custom firmware built by Pwnage (Mac) or Sn0wbreeze (PC) and restored w/iTunes will update and preserve your unlock.

    Iphone 3GS 4.3 (8F190)
    Iphone 3gs 4.3.3 (8J2)
    Iphone 3gs 4.3.5 (8L1)

Download iOS 4.3.3 firmware ipsw and Snowbreeze version 2.7.1

Start Tiny Umbrella, click TSS Server, verify TSS server running. Leave TU open.

Start Snowbreeze, select 4.3.3 firmware, and Simple mode to build a custom firmware..,
... continue with Snowbreeze, follow the timer carefully to enter 'pwnd-DFU'.

Open iTunes, press shift and click restore. In new window select custom firmware on the desktop.

No errors should occur. Restored and jailbroken. Baseband and unlock are preserved.

Install Ultrasn0w (via Cydia) to unlock.

Error 6 indicates a USB port problem.

    Try the following ideas:
Change USB ports, disconnect other USB devices, no USB hub, change cable, reboot.
    Reinstall the latest iTunes.
    Change computer.

Error 6 indicates a USB port problem.

Aside from my previous suggestions, I don't have any other advise. Sorry.
