    hii

My iphone 3gs (new bootrom) with 06.15.00 baseband has become bricked

    problems
    1. 6.15.00 baseband
    2. unsure of what ios is running on iphone
    3. was accidently updated to stock ios 4.3.5
    4. wont restore to ios 4.3.3
    5. do not have shsh blobs saved
    6. do require a carrier unlock
    7. not sure if iphone is stuck in a boot loop or bricked :/

    okhay then
was iphone 3gs was on 4.3.3 snowbreeze jailbreak and i started having charging problems so i decided to restore my iphone to fix the problem but little did i know that you cant restore a 6.15 iphone to stock firmware so procedded and as the restore was almost complete i got thrown an itunes error 1015. im not sure if that means ios4.3.5 is installed and just stuck in a boot loop or something else has occured .

ill update this thread as soon as someone tells me weather i have a bricked or bootlooping problem
    thanks

Sorry, but without SHSH blobs only two (2) restore choices exist: 4.1 and 4.3.5.

For 3G and 3GS, even if you hsve iPad bb, you can still restore to stock fw of 4.1, use exit recovery to kick out error 1015 and you will be at emergency screen.

I told you errror 1015 is expected because your Baseband does not match your firmware and can be easily fixed by exit recovery. Error 1015 can only be fixed if your IOS restore is less than iOS 4.2.1.

I assume you have iPad Baseband, you can’t restore to stock firmware of 4.2.1 or higher, if there is a tool that can create custom firmware for the iOS fw, then you can and you must have the required shsh blob for verification.
Go download latest tiny umbrella and save your blobs
