Exclamation iphone 3gs update to 4.3.5 SERIOUS PROBS!
So here is the story behind my crached iphone 3gs
I tried jailbraking it a couple of times with redsnow etc. I remember that it said that the serial number would matter and I checked it out, unfortunately it was in the weeks between 41-45 that the results varied. Well it did! Back then I was trying to jailbrake it on 4.2.1 and the baseband was old. After upgrading baseband on the ipad bb 06.15.00, I tried to install Cydia. When the phone finally got started I saw the Cydia icon on my apps and clicked it. After a flash of white happened the cydia app crashed. I saw many tuts and etc for this to make it work but nothing. Well in one way or another I made the phone work as an ipod with all benefits of an iphone except call because it wasnt unlocked and not jailbraked but with bb on 06.15.00. Months passed (as I have a second phone to do my job) I updated on 4.3 bla bla everything ok as an iphone/ipod with bb 06.15.00 with my apps working and everything except call. (until that ok! stop laughing! :-))

But then I updated on 4.3.5 and the phone crashed and now it is on a recovery loop when the wire is connected.

So I dont know what to do. I have an iphone 3gs with bb 06.15.00, not jailbraked (as for Cydia is not installed on phone) and not unlocked either. I used Tiny Umbrella to save shsh blobs on 4.3.3 successfully. but now even TU doesnt recognize my iphone. It shows a questionmark and on the Device Model : -INVALID
I tired many ways to use custom ispw with itunes etc. NOTHING!!
I use a Mac. SO please help mee!!

    Close tiny umbrella.
Use pwnage tool to make a custom 4.3.3 firmware and option restore to that in itunes.

use recboot to kick it out of the boot loop.

Can you give me a new link for a step by step for this? Because I tried this before and it doesnt work. In fact the new pwnage tool does not recognise my 4.3.3 ispw i set it.
If I remove the battery would I have the phone fully RESET??? Really its driving me crazy. Im posting all over the place and no successful answer yet.

iReb will not help him in this situation anyway. Neither will recboot or tiny umbrella's exit recovery button. The "fix recovery" may work but is not very reliable. All those other things only work on 4.1 and down to kick a device out of recovery after a error 10XX.

Custom firmware is the easiest way around it.

What I'm getting from this post is that you are trying to figure out what assets to add to your custom firmware, Correct? Also, you have already watched a tutorial video, correct? I have a very good video tutorial that will guide you through the steps of building a custom IPSW for the iPhone 3G[s]:
I hate to swamp you with another tutorial but this one is pretty straight forward.

    Hope this helps!

...Jailbreak iPhone 3GS on iOS4 with Pwnage Tool 4.0 - YouTube..
@iJasonTATE. The OP is loading 4.3.3, not 4.0. Please remove your link.

@Theodorian: Use the link Simon provided.

    @Mes Link removed

@Theodorian You basically choose what you want. There is no "essential" package you need.

Instead of having to download all of your sources and packages from Cydia on your iPhone, PwnageTool is allowing you to do it within the application. None of those packages(installed or not installed) will affect your iPhone(while building your firmware atleast).

No 'extra' packages are needed. You don't need to 'add' anything.

Note: If you are still having problem, post a screenshot
