Default Updating firmware on jailbroken iPhone
    Hi yall,

I had an iphone 3g, unlocked and with 06.15.00 broadband. I wanted to update the firmware, and I recently switched to at&t, so I really don't need it unlocked anymore.

So I went ahead and tried to just do this through iTunes, thinking it would just un-jailbreak the phone and give me the newest firmware. IMMEDIATELY after doing this, I remembered hearing you can't do this -- you have to stay on custom firmware.

    Dumb, I know.

So my question is: What do I do now? My phone is stuck in recovery mode.

Build a custom firmware with sn0wbreeze or pwnage tool and restore with that.

Which is easiest? Anything special I need to be careful about, or will it be straightforward?
Thanks a lot for the help, I apprecaitcha.

i'm kinda terrible with this stuff so specifics would be really helpful.

Okay also, after doing this does my firmware remain on 3.3? Or do I now need the ultrasn0w for 4.x?

Can anyone help me please? Simple question. What version of ultrasn0w do I need if I tried updating an iPhone with iTunes?

    3G phone, was on 3.3, on 06.15.00...
