Thread: Iphone 3g Jailbroken and unlocked. Jumpy when playing games.

Default Iphone 3g Jailbroken and unlocked. Jumpy when playing games.
Running 4.2.1 and 06.15 baseband. Is this normal? I was thinking about trying to install 4.2.1 fresh or downgrade to 3.1.3.

Any suggestions would be great. This has probably already been answered, but there are too many topics to dig through.

    Thanks.

Can you direct me to instructions for this? I know it's here, but there's so much info here.

    Thanks.

Not much Shift or Option click ...

    Download both the 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 ipsw, you'll restore to 3.1.3 w/iTunes
Do a standard shift or option + restore to stock 3.1.3.
If you get error 1015, open TinyUmbrella and use the "exit recovery mode" option (not fix recovery).

Then jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.4 and the 3.1.2 ipsw.
    Unlock with Ultrasn0w from Cydia.

^If you're interested, read up on userland jailbreaks. There are subtle differences.

Just curious, why do I need to jailbreak with 3.1.2?

Thanks for all the help, btw. You've been a lifesaver.
