Default How to update to ipad baseband (6.15) fw 4.3.4 and 5.16.02?
Please help !!! My iPhone 3GS firmware 4.3.4 and baseband 5.16.02, no save SHSH blobs (bought it from CL as it is). Is there anyway to update to ipad baseband (6.15) or downgrade fw in able to unlock the phone. Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no way to downgrade without the shsh blobs.

You can still install the 06.15.00 ipad baseband by using an older version of redsn0w that has this option or creating a custom fw with the ipad bb attached. However since it is on 4.3.4 ultrasn0w may not recognize it and you'll probably end up with no service until the dev-team updates it to use 4.3.4. The jailbreak is also tethered and not 100% fully functional yet on 4.3.4

    No.
No use updating to iPad baseband without a proper jailbreak.

Hi, I figured it out and downgraded to fw 4.2.1 and upgraded to iPad baseband (6.15)

    Used sn0wbreeze-2.2.1 and iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore
    to make custom sn0wbreeze_iPhone 3GS-4.2.1a

Set the iPhone on DFU mode then open iTunes to restore (Shift + Restore)
After installed, the iPhone stays black out (nothing on screen)
Used redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16 , open iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore to install iPad baseband (takes 4-10 minutes)
    Now use redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16 to boot

No, I did not have SHSH blobs. Just created a custom sn0wbreeze_iPhone 3GS-4.2.1a
then use iTunes to restore in DFU mode

It's not possible to downgrade without shsh blobs ( there is a way but phone would need tethered boot all time )

Yes, the phone will need tethered boot all time if you turn it off. Now I can upgrade it to firmware 4.3.3 with my signed firmware 4.3.3 which I created from the other 3GS, can't I?

Nope. shsh blobs are tailor made for each specific iOS device. You can't use shsh from a signed fw that was created on one device and then use it on another. Try it but I'm almost positive it will error out.

You are right, I use sn0wbreeze-v2.7.3 to create a custom fw 4.3.3 then open TU to restore SHSH blobs from the other one. It works now, unlock and jailbreak. Thanks.

With Ipad bb, for all restore of 4.2.1 or higher, you need to use custom firmware.

Hi all, now I have a major problem, after restore 4.3.3 with bb 6.15, jailbreak, unlock, everything worked perfectly, sync apps and music smoothly, making calls, text and email flawless. After a day I left it on. last night it turned off by itself and now the screen is blackout, nothing is on screen no matter how long I hold the switch. I tried everything I know : restore cfw (iTunes error 1600-1602), tethered boot only, install Cydia but it stuck at reboot and the iPhone screen is still blackout, even PC and iTunes still recognize the phone. I also tried it on a fresh Windows installed laptop with no anti-virus installed and disable Windows firewall but still same result. Please help or any advise will be appreciate. Thanks a bunch.
