Thread: Problems Restoring

    Default Problems Restoring
My iPhone 3g 4.2.1 was stuck on the apple logo after I rebooted it. I tried restoring to original 4.2.1 via iTunes and i got error 1015. So then I entered pwned dfu mode in 4.2.1 and custom restored. It said restore was successful but it still didn't start. It showed the apple logo again and then went to recovery mode. When i used Tiny umbrella to exit recovery, it rebooted and went back to recovery. Can anyone please help? I tried everything, i'm so pissed off right now.

Make sure your custom firmware does not contain ipad baseband.

You can easily create one for yourself with Snowbreeze 2.2.1 for cfw of 4.2.1, make sure no ipad bb included.

Get it from the archived section of iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones

U din need to do all that . Usually using recovery fix from tiny umbrella site fixes the pRoblem of not being able to exit recovery. Custom firmware always makes things difficult..

M not saying tinyumbrella. There is a software called fix recovery
    Code:
     http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/downloads/fixrecovery-win.zip#
    Use this.
