    Default Help updating.
Hi guys I'm sure this question comes up a lot but I have read through the forums and tried to do it myself but am afraid to make a mess of my iPhone. I have the iPhone 3GS running iOS 3.0.1. I would like to update this to the newest software but am not sure how to do it as I need to keep my unlock. I am on the meteor network in Ireland. I've been reading about preserving basebands and things like that and just confused myself even more. Would really appreciate if somebody could walk me through it. Thanks in advance.

Download sn0wbreeze from iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones then download a 4.3.3 firmware from felixbruns.de once both of those are done, come back here for further instructions

Ok I'll have to download firefox can it not be done with Internet explorer??

  12. #12
In internet explorer it will download as a zip, unless you know how to change the settings to allow you to change the file extension name its best to download with firefox. Try renaming the .zip file to .ipsw if it changes to an itunes formatted file your set if not firefox is the next best choice
