    Default I just purchased a jailbroken iphone
    Can I put it in my account or will they brick it because it is jailbroken? Thanks guys I don't know anything about iphones.

    Yes, you can use your itunes account with it normally. Nothing bad will happen.

    Its funny because its sort of common sense why would you jailbreak an iPhone or iPod if it defeats the purpose of it. LOL.
    when I first started jb'ing, when jbme 2.0 came out, I was obviously a noob and had no idea what was going on. so when I saw cydia I though crap, ive heard about apple shutting down iPods..so on the iPod I reset it
    to factory settings. I'm sure people would have done similar if they had no idea what was going on

    But the thing is that Apple has never shut down anyone's iDevices for jailbreaking. They will void the warrenty and deny you service if you bring it pyshically to the store jailbroken and ask for help but that is all.

    yeah I get that, but the thing is new jb'ers may not. this new jbme 3.0 would have brought on people who are new to jailbreaking, just because it's so simple. and people like this may not know this. I didn't,

    True. It is always a good idea to research things before you do it. I always did that though myself. Even with cooked roms of Windows mobile devices I used to use.
