    Default Should I update?? ??
Hey ppl. I gt a 3gs with 3.1.2 blackra1n'ed. I am little confused with updating it to 4.x.

The only thing which seems positive fr me is that I will get it untethered jailbreak while right now I am tethered.

I have few questions regarding 4.x and I hope u people will help me out:

    1) Is multitasking on ios 4 is better then 'Backgrounder' ???

    2) Does it have a app like ibluenova and ibluetooth which can make my bluetooth useful?

3)Can I lock folders like I can On my 3.1.2 with lockdown?

    4) Are folder as good as 'Categories' on 3.x?

All the 4.1 jailbreaks are untethered for every deice. IMO multitasking is better than backgrounder and folders is much better than categories. Unsure on your bluetooth question but lockdown should work on 4.1. You might want to check a 4.1 cydia compatibility list though just to be sure. Just google cydia "iPhone 4.1 compatibility list"

I checked the compatibility list. Lockdown and ibluenova both are unsupported right now.
So I guess I have to stick with 3.1.2

Anyone have suggestions for apps/tweaks that can lock folder on ios4 and activate its bluetooth ? ? ?

If bluenova is important, you'll need to wait. No-one has been working in a replacement that I know of and the thread has been silent for a long time.

You may want to check Locktopus. That is another app to lock stuff but not sure it is 4.1 compatible either.
