    Default Help!!
I tried to add the source http://macciti.com/cydia/. Right away it said it was a bad URL. Now when I load cydia it says error and fails to fetch data. How do I delete this when there is nothing to delete?!? Please help!!

This is a tuff one for me, been dealing with the same issue where I misspelled a repo and I got the same error every time Cydia loaded.
I searched and found a ton of answers but none that worked perfect other then restoring.
But I can tell you how to remove it, and or but.... it will always return whenever you add a repo to Cydia, so for now I have just gotten into the habit of temp fixing till I add a repo and just repeat the process, no big deal really.
I hear that there is a perm fix, but no one has stepped up with details on how so......
I SSH into var/lib/apt/lists/partial/cydia.lists, open with wordpad or what ever and delete the bad repo and save. reboot and they are gone, temporarily.
If someone knows a better way, please post up.

First you have to install open ssh
Install mobileterminal ( for ios 4.1, you have to add this repo to Cydia sources : podzombie.com/repository/ and install the mobileterminal for ios 4.1)

When you have connected to your wifi, there is an ip address under settings
Run MobileTerminal and key in : ssh root@192.168.x.xx and hit enter
    Wait for key generation.
Now type : Yes and then enter
    Now type alpine
    You are now at root.
    close mobile terminal.

    On your laptop, install winscp
Run Winscp and under the Host : key in your iphone ip address : 192.168.x.xx
    User name : root
    Password : alpine
    click login
Wait, you may have to do it twice.
Then a message will pop up asking you to add, click add
Now you are in and should be able to browse the files in your iphone.

Root/private/var/stash/application/delete the xxxx.app that is causing the problem.

I did everything step by step, but after trying to login in to winscp it says invalid access to memory?? There are 4 terminals in mobileterminal, do I need to go to root for each??
