    As follows;

    1. Appbackup for backing up App Store apps
    2. Pkgbackup for backing up Cydia stuff
    3. Chronus for backing up Sms,Safari bookmarks etc ?

    Restore using itunes and pressing 'new' when prompted ?

    AppBackup just backs up the settings of your App Store apps, I believe. Make sure all of your apps are stored in iTunes on your computer (File > Transfer Purchases from "iPhone"). Do a final sync with iTunes as your texts, bookmarks, etc. are stored there as well.

    After doing a final sync, restore. Then you must restore from a backup (the last backup you made before restoring - the final sync I told you about) in order to get everything back. Those backup utility apps won't work without restoring from a backup because their information is stored there.

    You must also add the sources manually , if you have installed some apps that require additionsl sources.

    If you want all your saved settings and all that back, then no, you can't do a new restore or else it'll all be lost.

    I am thinking of a "New" restore. I have ssh'd my contacts and some other stuff but I am wondering about things like game settings. I have that angry birds game for instance and have almost got it with all 3 stars. If I do the new then restore my apps with a sync will my game still have its current settings or will i be starting from scratch?

    Is there a way I can save these scores with ssh? I use funbox version 1 to access the file system.

    You can do it using Appbackup.. it saves your game data .
