    Default iPhone 4 4.0.1 to 4.1
Hey just wondering if upgrading is really worth it right now. I want to avoid upgrading if there is nothing really worth it. What does 4.1 have that is so much better?

HDR and GameCenter. If either of those matter, then yes it's worth it. If you don't care about those, you're fine where you are.

Personally, I couldve stayed on 4.0.2 and jb where I was, but I upgraded to 4.1 just so I could avoid iTunes constant nagging to upgrade my phone(s).

iPhone 4 is easy to upgrade and jb, so I took advantage of it. Simply run TinyUmbrella's TSS server to preserve the baseband (I don't need an unlock but I might in the future when traveling so I did it for that purpose), then restored to 4.1 and jb with Limera1n (greenpois0n is also an option).

I didnt see any diff regarding performance of my phone from 4.0.2 to 4.1, so I'd say go for it if you want HDR and/or GameCenter, or stay where you are if you don't care for those.

What about battery drain on 4.1 vs 4.02?

I personally didn't see much difference, someone else whose experience differs may chime in though

I've heard people say battery improves with 4.1, but I spend 75% of my life at work and I always have my charger. I also don't see much of a difference with battery. Never drained fast, but didnt last thru the day with extensive use, just like any other smartphone.

Is HDR the camera thing that changed? What does HDR do? I get awesome battery life on 4.0.1 with auto 3g installed!

I can say from 4.0.1 to 4.1 I noticed the battery life is much better than before.
