    Question ECID Question
    if i was to provide somone who has 4.0.1 on iPhone 4

    with my ECID and they enter it into tiny umbrella and save the shsh to cydia.

    would that work for me?

    so that i would be able to downgrade to 4.0.1?

    just an idea

    let me know

    Yes, anyone can push shsh blogs to Cydia by entering the correct ECID and the correct idevice. Don't know why you want someone to do it when you can do it yourself.

    the reason i would ask if somone could do it for me is because i am not on 4.0.1 i am on 4.0.2

    let me clarify the question.

    I want to be able to downgrade to 4.0.1.

    but i do not have my shsh saved because i am on stock 4.0.2

    if i was to provide my ecid to somone and if they manualy put it into TinyUmbrella running 4.0.1 can they save my shsh for 4.0.1 so that i would be able to downgrade to 4.0.1

    would that work?

    that is my question.

    No, let me explain to you how it works.
    Cydia can only save what apple is signing now, so Cydia cannot save any of these shsh blogs : 3.0,3.0.1,3.1,3.1.2,3.1.3,4.0,4.0.1,4.0.2 but can only save 4.1 now.
    So in other words, if you have 4.0.2 saved , the lowest downgrade you can restore is 4.0.2.
