Thread: Cydia SHSH file

    Default Cydia SHSH file
On 09/18/10 Using iphone 4 4.0. I saved my SHSH file on Cydia when I jailbroke it. But on 09/20/10 My phone got stuck on the Apple Logo when I tried to reset the phone.

Does Cydia have my SHSH on file? or was it too late when I saved it on 09/18/10? because firmware 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1 got released?

the only shsh that cydia can get is 4.1 at this point because that is the only firmware that apple is signing

I assume that whatever firmware Im running as long as I "Make my life easier" it would be SAVED in Cydia and it didnt matter what version Apple is signing. Arent we just redirecting it to Cydia to verifiy the ECID?

I guess I was WRONG...Now I need to wait for Jailbreak 4.1 or 4.2...THATS SUCKS!

So, there is ABSOLUTELY no other way to restore my iPhone to 4.0 "currently installed" or 4.0.1?

    Nope.
We're all just toymakers in the game of life.
