Exclamation iTunes 9.2 authorisation for apps - help!
    Hi all,

I'm techaware but a bit of a noob when it comes to jailbreaking.

I have successfully jail-broken my Iphone 3GS (new boot / MC) on 4.0.1 - using JailbreakMe.

Cydia has installed and life is wonderful - god bless the people who makes this possible

    However..... (drum roll)

iTunes stopped detecting my iPhone - I tried replacing the drivers in Device Manager (Win 7) - but it did not help.

So I then (stupidly?) reinstalled iTunes. I now have 9.2 installed and it finds my iPhone - but flips out about my "unauthorised applications" and threatens to delete them.

I seem to remember there being a work around to this involving the HOSTS file - but I can't find reference to it online.

Does any wise iHelper have a work around for this?

In iTunes press "Store" at the top and then "Authorize computer" .
