    Default Upgrade to v4.0.2?
I would like to know if I could get up cydia and the apps which I purchased from cydia after upgrading to new version of software updates? If yes, how do I go about doing it.

Appreciate your kind response and thanks for your help.

The only phone that can be jailbroken on 4.0.2 is a 3G. If you have a 3GS or 4 currently on 4.0.2 you will not be able to jailbreak without downgrading.

the next jailbreak will probably come with the release of 4.1, there are no plans for a jailbreak for 4.0.2 that i am aware of

So whenever I upgrade to new version. Theoritically I will have to jailbreak again. But what about the apps I purchase? Do I still need to purchase again? So sorry as I am a newbie.

you will not have to purchase them again, cydia will know from your phones id that you have already purchased those apps and you will be able to reinstall them again without having to pay for them again
