Thread: apps appear to never close

Default apps appear to never close
I am jailbroken 4.0.1 3GS firmware 05.13.04. I have SBsettings installed, and whenever I look at my processes any program I have ever opened (and subsequently closed) is running in the background. However they don't appear to actually be running, since when I re-open an app it has to load from scratch as normal.

I can kill the processes, but this gets tedious every single time! (Actually I can't kill skype, it always comes back along with mail/phone)

Anyone have a similar problem? Not sure if these programs are actually running or if SBsettings is having issues seeing which processes are actually open.

    Thanks guys!

There is a great SBSettings app that helps this. It is called RemoveBG. It kills all the processes and cleares multitasking with one button in SBSettings. I hate the 4.0 multitasking and this helps clear my memory easier.
