    Default Most Useful Cydia Apps
    Hello All!

Now that Spirit has done an awesome job, the next step is obviously the applications that need to be installed from Cydia for various operational / simplicity reasons.

Please list all these applications and the source (repo) that needs to be added within CYDIA to view these applications.

    Thanks and advance!!!

Once again. App --- What it does --- repo link

MyWi, iRealSMS (not yet iphone 4 compatible), iFile, 3G Unrestrictor (doesn't allow FaceTime on 3G though. yet), openssh, mobile terminal (not yet iphone 4 compatible), springsorter (uncertain of compatibility)

Those are all accessible in the basic Cydia.

My number one thing I installed after JB was Popup Blocker. I cant stand those blue popup boxes when I am watching a movie or playing a game. Now if only Status Notifier worked I would be set. Status Notifier gives me safe mode loop.

My mistake, it's listed as status notifier fix in modmyi repo. It shows on the springboard as reminder.

    Why does everyone hate Rock?
It's the only way to actually find good apps because it has ratings!

and its usaly a easy way to crash your phone, I'll stick with cydia, might not be as fast, but its normally more reliable

I guess I'm one of the few with no problems...

  19. #18
I feel they both have good qualities, I have had no problems with either. Rock seems to be faster and has a great back up for apps loaded so new phone or restore and you can load all back with a few touches. However Cydia deserves all the respect due to length of time available and contributions to everything you have.
