    Default 3g Downgrade Help Here..
    Hi,

I do have a 3g never been JB and its running on iOS4. Now what I want to do is downgrade my OS back to 3.1.3 before I JB this phone. The thing is, All the guide that google gave me cant downgrade with a 64-bit Windows 7. Is there any of you had downgraded a 3g using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit? If yes I really need you help.. Thanks in advance.

    PS
I am not sure what is my Original OS. i Think its 3.0

    Thanks

all you have to do is download (using google chrome or firefox) an official 3.1.3 ipsw file from the download section of this site, then hold the shift key while you click restore in iTunes and point it at the file you just downloaded, you will probably get stuck in a recovery loop because of the 4.0 baseband trying to run on 3.1.3 (will work fine so don't fret), use tinyumbrella to get out of the recovery loop and you should be good to go, for what it's worth I have updated and restore many 2g's, 3g's, and 3gs' on both vista 64 and windows 7 64 without trouble or having to do anything special

tinyumbrella is a program used for saving shsh blobs but semaphore also added a feature to kick your phone out of recovery mode, here is a link The Firmware Umbrella
