Thread: 3GS Locked Up

    Default 3GS Locked Up
Ok, my Jailbroken 3GS locked up and I had to restore it unfortunately which resulted in it upgrading the OS to 4.0. Can this be re-jailbroken now? I've looked around but all these threads are confusing as hell to me. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me out with a definitive link to getting it done if it's possible.

Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help.

It all depends on if you had your shsh blobs saved. Did you click the make my life easier button on cydia? If so then you can restore to that firmware the blobs were saved for.

It can be done IF you have shsh's saved for a previous fw. Use tiny umbrella to see if you have any saved on cydia's servers.

Was your device jailbroken prior to 4.0 on 3.1.2 or 3.1.3?
If I somehow helped you, press thanks

Did you happen to press the make my life easier button in Cydia? Or did you notice if it said "the device has shshs on file for 3.1.2"?
If I somehow helped you, press thanks
