    Default iTunes doesn't recognize iPhone unless in DFU/Recovery mode..Gotta Leave in 1h! :(
    Hello, I'm leaving the country in 1h and can't get iTunes to recognize my iPhone 3G (with an other iPhone it does work) unless i'm in DFU or recovery mode.
    What I did:

    1) Downgrade 4.0 -> 3.1.3
    2) Jailbreak/Hacktivation with redsn0w 0.9.4
    3) Unlock with Ultrasn0w

    Everything does work except that the iPhone doesn't show up in iTunes. Could anyone help, please?

    PS: I tried different cables and USB ports. IPhone is getting charged too.

    Try holding home/sleep buttons at the same time. It may kick it out of dfu. Hold them for at least 15 seconds

    I'm not in DFU mode...but only when I enter DFU/Recovery, iTunes shows my iPhone under Devices.

    That's interesting. Try to re jailbreak. That will fix it

    are you sure about it? I customized it already with lots of cydia apps. Don't want to do it again for nothing.

    Yeah, it seems like it is the only way. You can get all of those cydia apps again.

    Give it another shot.
